	Michael Becker, Mayor Commissioner of Public Safety Mike has been a Margate resident and local businessman for nearly forty years. He is a graduate of Atlantic City High School and Ursinus College and a veteran of the United States Army. He currently manages the Colmar True Value Home Center in Margate. Mike is a former member of the Kiwanis Club and an active member of both the Beth El Synagogue and the American Legion. This active Margate resident held a position on the Margate Board of Education for 22 years, serving as president for the last 17, until retiring from the Board in 1993. His devotion to the community he calls home led Mike to accept positions on the Board of Directors of the Hebrew Old Age Center, currently known as Seashore Gardens, and the Best of Life Senior Citizen Residence. Mike and his wife Mary have two children, daughter Hope, son Rob and daughter-in-law Audrey. They have three grandchildren, Morgan, Sydney and Luke.
	Maury Blumberg Commissioner of Revenue & Finance For Maury, there’s no place like home. His family has lived in Margate for 54 years, and he attended both the Margate City Schools and Holy Spirit High School. After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1982, Maury began his career with Honeywell International in North Jersey where he worked for 22 years in senior management positions. When it was time for Maury and his wife Laurie to start a family, they returned in 1998 to the town he loves - Margate. Maury serves on the Board of the Margate Little League and coaches softball and basketball each season. He has served on the Margate Zoning Board and is currently Vice President of Sales and Engineering at Jersey Architectural Door. Maury and his wife reside on Pembroke Avenue, with their twin girls, Claire and Kate. To Maury, Margate is more than a town. It’s a neighborhood of people who work together, play together and make the community a superior place to live.
	Brenda Taube Commissioner of Public Works Brenda has called Margate home for over 23 years. She holds a BA in Liberal Studies from the Richard Stockton College of NJ, attended LaSalle University’s Nonprofit Management Development Center and the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. Brenda is a business woman who served as Assistant Director of the “NJ Small Business Development Center”.  Prior to this position, Brenda served as Director of Marketing and Tourism Development for the South Jersey Cultural Alliance where she promoted the arts, cultural & historical organizations in the eight southern most counties of NJ.  She is also a former business owner who operated a “TCBY” franchise in Margate for several years.     Brenda has had the opportunity to serve on boards and to volunteer for many nonprofit organizations including the American Cancer Society, the RNS Cancer and Heart Fund, the Miss America Organization and Charity League.  Brenda recently served as chairperson of the Board of Deacons at Margate Community Church and she now serves on the Board of Christian Education.  Additionally, she has served on the Margate City Board of Ethics and the Atlantic County Economic Advisory Commission.  “I care very much for our community.  What happens in Margate affects not only us, our families, but our families’ future,” states Brenda.  She looks forward to serving as Commissioner and helping Margate remain the great city that it is.  Brenda and her husband John reside on Nassau Avenue with their young daughter, Ellie.
